An Introduction
Welcome to my professional portfolio! My name is Ayana Papaj, and as I prepare to graduate this coming spring from Northeastern University with a degree in Health Science and a minor in Business Administration, I am interested in opportunities within healthcare operations, innovation, and the medical technology industry. Through this portfolio, I hope to demonstrate how my academic and professional experiences have prepared me to contribute to organizations working to make healthcare delivery more efficient, accessible, and patient-centered.

My interest in healthcare innovation has developed both my coursework and firsthand experience in hospital settings. During my co-op at Tufts Medical Center, I rotated through Speech and Swallowing, the Pulmonary Function Lab, and Inpatient Physical Therapy. Working across these departments allowed me to see how coordination, technology, and administrative workflows influence both healthcare professionals and the patients they serve. These experiences encouraged me to think beyond individual patient interactions and consider the larger systems that enable effective care.

My coursework has strengthened my interest in how healthcare will continue to evolve in the future, particularly through new technologies and innovative approaches to care. Through projects focused on AI in hospital workflows, remote physical therapy monitoring, and AI-assisted disease detection, I have explored how these advancements could improve healthcare delivery while strengthening my skills in research, communication, and problem-solving.

As you explore my work, I hope these projects provide insight into the skills and perspectives I would bring to a healthcare organization. Most importantly, they represent my growing interest in using communication, innovation, and technology to support healthcare professionals and improve the experiences of patients receiving care.
