Below are selected pieces from my coursework at Northeastern that reflect my interests in healthcare innovation, communication, and improving healthcare delivery. Each project highlights a different area of my academic development and the skills I hope to carry into my professional career.
My Work
For my Advanced Writing in the Healthcare Professions course, my literature review explores how artificial intelligence can improve hospital administrative workflows, including scheduling, care coordination, and resource allocation. I synthesized recent research to examine both the benefits and challenges of AI integration. This project strengthened my research skills while allowing me to explore how emerging technologies could improve healthcare delivery.
Developed in my Product Design, Development, and Innovation course, AlgaFlex is an algae-based biodegradable orthopedic patch designed to track muscle extension and support remote physical therapy monitoring. I developed this product while considering patient accessibility, sustainability, and current healthcare gaps. This project strengthened my interest in the intersection of healthcare, technology, and business.
When A.I. Finds What Doctors Miss is a public health writing piece exploring how artificial intelligence can assist physicians in identifying health conditions that may otherwise go undetected. The piece translates complex medical research into accessible information while examining both the potential and limitations of AI in patient care.
